Once in a while you come upon a treat so delicious it deserves its own blog post.  It's one of those treats you make for a special occasion, sample just to make sure they're ok to take to work, and then wonder if you should make them something else because you don't want to share them because they're just that damn good.  I happened upon one such treat.

The original Pinterest post was uploaded by a user so there is no link to a different website.  There was simply a picture and some instructions.

Preheat oven to 350; smoosh 1.5 squares of break-apart refrigerated
cookie dough into the bottom of each well. Place Reese cup upside
down on top of cookie dough (or an Oreo!). Top with prepared
box brownie mix, filling 3/4 full. Bake for 18 minutes! HEAVEN.
Once I saw this, there was no going back, I had to try them.  There just happened to be a birthday at work to take treats in for so the timing was perfect.  I showed the picture to Sis and she was game for some too!  We bought enough to make two batches (about $12), one for her office and one for mine, and we jumped in with both feet.

They were VERY simple to make.  The only dishes you dirty are the bowl you mix the brownies in and the pan you use to bake them.  Easy and little clean up?  The only thing that could make it better would be if they were to die for.  Guess what.  They were!
I shared this photo on Facebook and so far several of my friends have tried making them.  If you give them a go, let me know what you think.

  1. Try adding a scope of vanilla ice cream on top of them right after they come out of the oven! OMG

    1. Just when I thought it couldn't get any more divine! Mmmm. I'll have to give that a try next time.
