Welcome to the first official Color My World photo challenge post!

If you missed the intro post then check that out here.

The very first color chosen at random was....drum roll please...
Olive Green
(I guess that wasn't a surprise since I put it in the title,
but it was great for pizzazz in the post, right?
It's like the jazz hands of the written word.)

Now, are you ready to see my photo inspiration for Olive Green?

(I'll spare you the drum roll this time.)

These are the leaves from two clippings from a plant a student
gave me when she graduated and moved home to Colorado.
It's one of the few plants I've been able to keep alive.

What do you spy with your little eyes that is Olive Green?
Take a peek, snap a quick picture, and link up below.
I'd love to see what you come up with!

Just grab this button and link up below. It really is that simple.

  1. Gonna search for Olive and i'll be linking up!

    1. Yay! Can't wait to see what you find. :)

  2. That's a hard one!! :) I'll have to keep my eyes open....

    1. It's amazing what you see when you look for the little things around you instead of glossing over them. Thanks for popping in!

  3. Okay, missy. I linked up!

One little glitch, though- the button didn't show up correctly when I posted it? It gives the link but not the picture? It's still functional though, so don't worry too much. Just thought I should let you know :)

    1. Yay! My very first link up! I love that you caved to my peer pressure/are so supportive. :)

It will just show the links for now. I wanted to make sure I'd get participation before I pay for an inlinks account. If I can get enough people participating then I'll buy the membership and will show the thumbnails.

    2. ahhh I see how it works. Thanks for clarifying :)

  4. I have been looking for this color all around me ... I think I found it and can't wait to post and link up!

    1. Thanks for linking up! Also, thanks for the great post on your blog. It's much appreciated. I too love back to school time and shopping for supplies.

  5. A home improvement is something that you can do to the interior of exterior of your house. dremel mm20
