Friday, oh, Friday. It's about damn time you
showed up. For. Reals. It's time to wrap the
week up with Confessional Friday with
Leslie over at A Blonde Ambition.
** After having driven compact Honda's most of my driving life, I'm still not used to driving my SUV sometimes. For instance, yesterday I literally ducked my head as I drove into a parking garage. I felt ridiculous the moment it happened.
** My boss has caught me dancing in my chair as I jam out with an ear bud in to the 90's stations on Pandora at my desk. I'm talking JAMMING OUT. She's caught me more than once and she laughed every time.
** This bullet is totally gratuitous because I wanted to share my new favorite picture of my nephew, Grant. Sis snapped this gem while Grant was singing his heart out to the Glee Project. I die for that expressive little face. LOVE IT!
** I made redneck garlic bread last night. I buttered a piece of bread, sprinkled some garlic powder on it and laid it in a hot pan for a couple of minutes. Not very classy, but way better than heating up the house with the oven!
** I got VERY excited when my friend, Bill, told me he got a new phone and lost a lot of things because I thought that meant he lost the video and pictures from some of our wilder happy time adventures. He informed me those were tucked safely on his iCloud so I had no reason to be excited. Damn!
What are you confessing this week?
Oh, are you a follower yet? If so, thank you! I adore my followers. If you are not, you totally should be. I'm working on some fun things coming up and you really don't want to miss any of the action. Besides, all the cool kids are going it. You KNOW you're one of the cool kids. Now, go follow me and have a great weekend, peeps!

Following now! Your confessions are seriously some of my favorites to read every week...so thanks for being so stinkin' entertaining ; ) And yeah, I'm so used to my little compact Nissan that when I drive my husband's truck, I feel like I'm taking up the entire road.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for linking up, sweet girl!
Thank you for the compliment AND the follow, Leslie! Ok, good. I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't used to driving a big vehicle. You should see me when I drive my Papa's giant diesel truck. I'm good as long as I don't have to park it in a tight space. LOL.
DeleteHey girl hey! Visiting from Confessional Friday and now following!!
ReplyDelete...and now after reading your confessions, all I want is garlic bread! Haha! :)

Delete90's Pandora...bomb dot com
ReplyDeleteWay better than the 70's or 80's. Being a girl who grew up in Seattle during the grunge era, I LOVE when Pearl Jam or Nirvana come on the 90's Pandora station!
DeleteHmmm didn't realize that was considered "Redneck garlic bread" but it all makes sense to me now.... with having my own redneck roots. My version is buttered bread with garlic salt and a lil shredded parm placed faced down on the pan to crisp up the cheese. Then flop er over & brown the backside. It's damn tasty!
ReplyDeleteI don't think your's is as redneck because you add cheese to yours. :) I will have to try that tonight when I make lasagna rolls!
