Only one more week until the Olympics!!

Are you so excited you could pee yourself? I am!  Ok, well, I am not that excited, but pretty close to it.

Not only are the Olympics about to start, but NBC is going to be airing EVERY SINGLE competition in EVERY SINGLE sport.  You can watch online or on your mobile phone/tablet.  How cool is that?! I've already downloaded my iPhone App.  More details can be found here.  (No, NBC is not paying me one red cent to say anything, but if they want to they can email me and I'll whore my blog self out for them. Done and done.)

I find track & field boring.  Basketball and tennis are for the birds.  No offense if you like those, but seriously? BORING.

These are the sports I can't wait to see.

Beach Volleyball

Diving, but especially Synchronized Diving

Gymnastics, of course

Especially Rhythmic Gymnastics

Swimming

Especially Synchronized Swimming

and last, but certainly not least, Trampoline
Huang Shanshan Huang Shanshan of China competes in the Women's Trampoline Qualification at the National Indoor Stadium on Day 8 of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games on August 16, 2008 in Beijing, China.

HA!  Did you expect my crazy behind to like the serious sports? I mean, they're all serious athletes, but come on now.  Trampoline?!  AMAZEBALLS!

The complete schedule can be found here on
the official London 2012 site.

NBC has a great site for all Olympic news, schedules,
programing, etc. and can be found here.

If you feel like celebrating along with some Brits, play along with this London Olympics Drinking Game found here.  (I love that the start by saying the game is not to be played with alcohol, but then tell you to drink x number of fingers.  Come on now!)

What sports are you excited to see? What country are you rooting for?  Do you have any sports you MUST see?

  1. I'm so excited that someone else shars my love for the Olympics! I'm not one to watch sports on tv, but I LOVE the Olympics, especially swimming, diving, and gymnastics!
