Are you ready for some big hair?!
Big Hair/Big Buckle 2012 has come and gone and
it was once again a rousing success!

Let me give you a quick run down in pictures.
Even though there were A LOT of pictures taken (gotta love the magic of cell phone cameras), I'm being very selective about what is posted.
Some pictures need to stay hidden...forever...and ever.

The first thing thing on the agenda was...
my hair, of course!
You can't have big hair night without big hair.
The before hair already had gel, but it needed loads of hair spray and some work with the teasing comb...and then some more hair spray, a little more teasing and another 17 spritzes of hair spray.
It turned out rather cute if I do say so myself!

Next up were my dates:
Ashley and Bill.

These two really know how to keep it classy.
Bill's mullet wig, rotten false teeth, and mirror belt buckle had us in stitches.
Ashley stopped laughing long enough to use of the mirror buckle to freshen her lipstick. Resourceful, I tell ya.

Oh, I actually had three dates for the night.
Meet my 3rd partner, The Captain.

My Captain pose could use a little/lotta work.
I nearly took out myself, the chair and a couple of people at this point...if I recall correctly.

Yep, I was having a good time and the night was just starting.

The big hair was covered so, next on the agenda, attire.
We were ready for the rodeo from head...
to toe!

We interrupt this post for a

Me??...or her??
What are the odds two of us would show up to the rodeo, in the same section, in the same shirt?
You MUST admit (and by must admit I mean I'm demanding you admit), I totally wore it best.
If you disagree, we need to consider some surgery for your eyes...and rethink our friendship.

Anywho, once we were ready, we loaded up in the car and headed over to Sarah's house to meet up with the crew.
Sarah loved Bill's get up.
You can always count on him to keep it fun AND classy.
I wonder what she was writing on that mirror?
You see, I wouldn't know because I may or may not have been working on perfecting my Captain's pose at this moment in time.
Sarah, LB and Megan always know how to show a gal a good time.
Bill always knows how to show a gal a good time too.
Thank God he left that wig and those teeth at the house.
When  walking to the rodeo, it's always important to hydrate for the walk.
This was only part of the group.
Quite a good looking crew!

First stop once we got in the gates was for beverages/fair food.
The jalapeno cheese munchers were amazeballs.
We gathered in a tent with our munchies and beverages.
Thomas, Bill, and Sarah are the best.  Love these people!
There was a lot of sibling love going around this year.
Sarah's brother, Paul, and Erin's brother, Andy, joined in the fun.
Big Hair/Big Buckle Night marks the anniversary
of this adorable couple, Adam and Erin.

What's up next?
The cowboys, of course!
I mean, the rodeo.
Sarah always gets us the best seats in the house.
How can you not love a view of all these wranglers??!

Another question for you,
how do you pass the time between events?
Answer: by taking a ton of silly pictures of yourselves.
This series of pictures cracked me up the next
day as I was looking through them.
Love you, Ash!  You bring so much laughter to my life.

Not sure what was going on in this picture, but I'm guessing we thought we were much funnier than those around us thought we were.
Never stops us though.  Not once.
Life is never dull with you, Bill, and I love you for it!

One of the top pictures of the night is this picture of Sarah and her sister-in-law, Heather.
They knew how to get down during the Jake Owen concert.

After the concert, it was time for the annual girls' picture.
Each and every one of these gals are so sweet, crazy and fun to hang out with.
I'm lucky enough to call them my friends.
This picture also cracked me up the next morning.
We ALMOST all squeezed in there.

Some random fun as we were leaving the fair grounds...
Sarah asked one of the cart drivers if she could take a picture in their cart.
Heather really brings the action to the picture.

Ashley caught this picture of the stuffed pig on the police cart.
Well played, officers, well played.

I may have saved the best "Big Hair" picture for last...
my Big Hair aftermath Saturday morning.
I couldn't run my fingers through it at all.
Sexy, I know.
You're welcome.
Before, during and after...my hair had a wild night of its own.

How did you spend your weekend?
