I'm a little late with this post, but since I've been too busy to craft or cook lately I've been lacking something to write about.  So, I'm going to do a little throwback to fall with our visit to the local pumpkin patch back when Auntie P and Uncle Dana were here.

The whole gang went after Grant's blessing in church.
Yes, I went to church and the building didn't catch on fire, I didn't burst into flames, nor did the roof fall in.  I'm just as amazed as you all are.
Anywho, the whole family went.  It was such a great time.  We had a lot of laughs.

Here are some of my favorite moments from the afternoon.
A sweet father son moment...right before Grant started throwing the
pumpkins because he thought they were like the balls he gets to throw.
"Give it all you got, lil dude!"
Grant wasn't really a fan of the animal portion of the pumpkin patch.
I loved this mother son moment.
Auntie P, Grant, and Sis making llama noises.
I love this moment with Auntie P, Grant, and Uncle Dana.
It was quite the hoppin' place!
I adore this little man.
Ha! I caught Chris in front of the camera for a change.
He's our family photography expert.  I turned the tables this time.
Despite the look on his face,
Grant was having a good time.
He was very excited about the pumpkin!
What a cutie!
He loves to give kisses!
I adore this picture of Grant by the small kids' maze.
Uncle Dana is one of my favorite people on this planet.
He would give you the shirt off his back.

Grant loved walking back and forth on the hay so much more than the little maze.
Look at him go!
Breaking out the llama noise again.  He makes me giggle.
We attempted a quick family picture.
It's hard to get three people to look in the same direction!
See!
He's such a happy boy!
Sis is a fantastic mother too.
I love the look of uncertainty in Grant's face while
he was watching the giant turtle.
But boy, when that turtle moved, Grant wanted nothing to do with it!
He wouldn't take his eye off the thing.
Some day he'll learn that it's pretty easy to run away from a turtle.
And I'd like to leave you with the super classy display by the registers.
Oklahoma likes to keep it classy by having a fake dog pee on a fake fire hydrant.
Have a great weekend folks.
Tomorrow's my birthday so I'll be living it up!
You should too.

  1. You must be lying about the church not catching on fire there's just no way.

And he is just the sweetest ever.
