Not too long ago, my friend, Suzanne,
asked me if I make baby bow hair clips.
I told her no, but immediately started looking
for a good tutorial so I could learn.

With a new little niece on the way,
who could make good use of a few bows...
or 30...or more...,
I couldn't resist giving them a go.

Off to the interwebs I went.
There are oodles and oodles of tutorials out there, but
I finally settled on Ashley's tutorial on her blog, Make It & Love It.
via
Not only does she have great step by step pictures to go along
with her tutorial, her bows have a non-slip grip to them!
Pretty cool, right?

I bought several of the small spools of Paper Studio ribbon in the scrapbook department of Hobby Lobby.  Each roll has enough for at least 2 bows.  I'm planning on mixing and matching the leftover scraps (blue with the blue argyle, pink with the pink zebra, etc.) to make the most of each roll.

I wasn't joking when I said 30,
but they're not all for one baby girl.
I'm spreading the wealth around a bit.
I can't wait to make more!
Really, I think they'd be great for all
ages of little girls, not just babies.

Be sure to stop by Make It & Love It's site if you're in the market for a great tutorial!

I linked this post up with a bunch of other bloggers over at some of these link parties.
