I don't want to toot my own horn, but this Crafty Home Improvement (Mis)Adventures original recipe has to be among one of my greatest creations.
Yes, a BLT Pizza Crisp.
They were to die for.
No joke.
I went to a friend's house for a Super Bowl party.
I wanted to try something new and original but I wasn't sure what to make.
Then it hit me.
I'd see a recipe on Pinterest for pizza crisps and I'd been craving California Pizza Kitchen's BLT pizza...why not combine the two?!
If you've never had their BLT pizza you're missing out.

Delicious!
Again, I get sidetracked.
Let's move on to my actual recipe.
Ingredients you'll need:
24 wonton wrappers
1 pkg bacon
1 small block extra sharp cheddar cheese
2 Roma tomatoes
1 bag shredded lettuce
mayo
Preheat oven to 375*.
Start by dicing the bacon and cooking it until crisp.
Finely dice tomatoes. I removed the heart of them before dicing to keep them from being too watery/juicy.
Shred your cheese.
Line your baking pans with foil, spray LIGHTLY with cooking spray, lay out the wonton wrappers making sure they don't touch, and then spray LIGHTLY with spray again.
Top each wonton with a little cheese, some bacon pieces, and again with a little cheese.
Bake at 375* for 12-18 minutes.
Really, just keep an eye on them and pull them out when they're golden brown and crispy since each oven is different.
In a medium bowl, stir a spoon full of mayo with the shredded lettuce. You don't want too much mayo so be sure to add a little at a time until the lettuce is coated.
Top each crisp with a little of the lettuce mix and little tomato.
And then enjoy this delicious appetizer!
These are so yummy and easy to make.
I'll definitely be making them again.
Imagine the variety of mini crisps you could make.
What treat did you make for the big game day?
