During my last confession post on Friday I mentioned I was so excited about a treat I was making for a friend that I decided to make an extra one for me.
Well, this is that treat...

Ever since I saw the recipe on Pinterest 2 weeks ago my mouth has been watering for one.  I love an easy recipe and this recipe could not have been simpler.

The recipe is originally from Taste of Home and can be found here, but I'll also post it below with my tweaks (a lil more peanut butter mainly).

Ingredients:
1 - 8 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter (I prefer chunky for the texture)
1 - 9" graham cracker crust
1 cup jelly of your choice (I used strawberry)
2 cups cool-whip

Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and peanut butter until it's smooth.
I wanted to lick the bowl!
Spread it evenly in the bottom of the crust.
Top with the jelly/preserves/jam of your choosing.
Then finish off with the whipped cream and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
And see, I told you I made two!
It really is that easy and it's even more yummy than you think.

I hope you had a great weekend, and a great Easter if that's a holiday you celebrate.
I spent the afternoon with my nephew where Aunt Sissy got him a "shake shake" and a frisbee with a shark on it because I may have taught him that a shark says "chomp!"
I also may have taught him the salt grinder dance.

He's such a good little grocery store helper!

I don't know about you, but I'm ready for Monday to be over.
"Happy" Monday, all!

This recipe is being shared on some of these lovely blogs.

  1. Well now my mouth is watering. Too bad you couldn't have had samples to past out to visitors :) With technology the way it is, it just might be a fact someday :) When that day comes I'll be expecting a sample, LOL.
